Theme 1: SOFT ROCK ‘70S SIRENS: Karen, Carly, Linda & Stevie

Janice Gerard revisits the textured sounds of four 1970s female soft rock icons — Karen Carpenter, Carly Simon, Linda Ronstadt & Stevie Nicks — in this fun and varied show that “Boomer”” fans should find very entertaining!

This tribute features the smooth stylings of Karen Carpenter hits (“Close To You,” “We’ve Only Just Begun,” “Sing A Song,”) . . .as well as the acoustic folk/rock & R&B rhythms of Carly Simon favorites (“You’re So Vain,” “Anticipation,” “You Belong To Me.”) The fun and energy level go higher with some Ronstadt-esque classic rock/pop tunes such as “It’s So Easy,” “When Will I Be Loved?” and “Just One Look,” and crescendos with the bewitchingly sultry songs of Stevie Nicks, including “Rhiannon,” “Dreams,” and her beautiful signature ballad, “Landslide.”

This program is available in lengths ranging from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours.
